STANDARD DUAL WALL SUB-BASE TANKS FOR 15-130 KW DIESEL GEN-SETS
(SELF CONTAINMENT, "LEAK-PROOF" TANKS)

All Sentry-Pro Diesel gen-sets have (3) choices of fuel tank capacities allowing an approximate average full load running time of 24, 48, or 72 hours. We find these (3) run time hours, to be the most popular requested sizes. However, larger gallon capacities giving longer run times for each gen-set model, is available upon request.

TANK DESCRIPTION: The Gillette Sentry-Pro dual wall, diesel fuel tank is a steel rectangular tank with a sealed, separately vented, integral fuel containment basin.

UL AND NATIONAL STANDARDS:
STANDARD UL 142: (UL listed under file no. MH17470) for dual wall steel aboveground tanks with flammable and combustible liquids.
STANDARD NFPA 30: for flammable and combustible liquids.
STANDARD NFPA 37: for installation and use of stationary combustible engine and gas turbines.
STANDARD NFPA 110 : for emergency and standby power systems.

CONSTRUCTION: All tanks are pressurized to 3 PSI and leak checked to ensure integrity of weld seams per UL 142 standards. Tank is constructed of heavy gauge steel and includes a reinforced steel box channel for generator support. Full height gussets are provided at gen-set mounting holes. Tanks are load rated at 5000 Lbs. per gen-set mounting point. The tank design has been tested extensively under conditions far in excess of normal use, to insure safe support of full generator weight. In addition, tanks are pressure washed with an iron phosphate solution and finished with an acrylic primer plus enamel paint. Tank interior is coated with a solvent based rust inhibitor.

STANDARD, GILLETTE, SENTRY-PRO SUB-BASE TANK FEATURES:
Emergency Pressure Relief Vent Caps: Meets or exceeds UL and NFPA requirements. This insures adequate venting and pressure relief for single wall tank (both inner and outer tank compartments for secondary containment tanks), under extreme emergency conditions.
Atmospheric Vent Cap: Accommodates normal venting (oversized 2" vent is raised above the fuel fill pipe).
Raised Fuel Fill: Includes a lockable flip top to prevent tampering and/or fuel contamination.
Fuel Level Gauge: Provides direct fuel level reading.
Low Fuel Level Switch: Annunciates a 50% low fuel level condition at gen-set control panel.
Leak Detection Switch: Annunciates a contained primary tank fuel leak at gen-set control panel. Note: This feature is for dual wall, secondary containment tanks only.
Removable Generator End Channel: Provides access to a full width, 12", 18", or 21" open electrical stub-up area.
